Eco Enzyme (EE) as a Novel Approach for Bone Mineral Dissolution: Implications for Organic Fertilizer Production

Abstract This study investigates the potential of Eco Enzyme (EE) in dissolving bone minerals (Ca, P, and N) its implications for organic fertilizer production. EE was produced through a three-month incubation water, molasses, waste 10:1:3 ratio an airtight container. The characterization involved analysis pH, acid sugar concentration, protease activity, enumeration non-selective bacteria, lactic bacteria (LAB), yeast. Results indicated higher population LAB compared to yeast, with final counts log 7.31 CFU/mL, 6.88 6.68 CFU/mL respectively. pH decreased from 5.7 3.45, while concentration increased 0.1% 2.15%, predominantly acid. Fructose most prevalent sugar, decreasing 4% 0.9% during fermentation. Protease activity measured at 15.41 U.mL-1. confirmed EE’s capability dissolve minerals, suggesting as mineral-rich liquid fertilizer. novel approach could provide sustainable solution management contribute global efforts towards agriculture.
